- Undiscovered Europe is a soft-power blog whose origins came from a project for a Public Diplomacy class. The goal of this blog is to foster a greater interest in Ukraine by the American and Ukrainian public's. By revealing their rich and colorful, their vast landscapes and attractive sceneries, and making their move to a more free market system. The overarching purpose of this blog is to help bridge the gap between the entities that are working to foster a better relationship between the United States and Ukraine. The aspiration is to create a site that networks all of the entities efforts and connects the counterparts of each organization. Among the diverse missions of these groups are a common denominator to assist Ukrainian's transition to a more market based economy and pluralistic democracy. Through these efforts it is my desire to encourage individuals, companies, NGOs, non-profits, government agencies, and cities to begin or enhance their sister city programs. Through their cooperation an establish understanding of the different societies will allows for a quick solution to possible conflicts or lay a foundation where conflicts are averted.
